Long-distance relationships involve a lot of travelling. We first met in July 2012 in front of the Duomo in Milan. Since then we have been moving up and down the Italian peninsula by train and bus: Urbino, Bologna, Busto Arsizio, Massa Martana, there are the trajectories of our commuter love.

Sometimes we travel together, excited about new countries, new food and new people. Sometimes we travel alone, but always thinking about each other. We still have a lot to travel! Surely, our best journey, the one we desire the most, will be to call a place “home”.

I viaggiascrittori: Marco & Chiara

23 years old, born in Busto Arsizio, Lombardy. At University, I studied Foreign Languages (English and Norway) and would like to work in the publishing industry. I’m always seeking beautiful empty spots, like small houses lost in vast, centuries-old woods. I’m passionate about food, especially meat and polenta (cornmeal mush), and this influences my travel choices. Thanks to my girlfriend Chiara, I’m exploring more of Italy and its beauties. I don’t travel as much as I would like to (but watch lots of tv series!) and take an awful amount of pictures… and that clearly debilitates my mental faculties!

Miss Chiara Pagliochini, travelling: this should be written on my business card. I’m 26 years old and grew up in the Umbrian countryside, in a village called Torre Lorenzetta. To attend University, I first moved to Urbino, then to Bologna, where I live now. I love reading and writing. For some time I worked as a web editor for Flashgiovani.it and attended a creative writing school, Bottega Finzioni, where I studied children literature. I’m crazy about cats and penguins. I’m desperately waiting for my Tardis.

What we do

We started our travel blog in July 2015. We write about our journeys and trips around Italy and Europe, but also about exhibitions, literary festivals and art fairs. We love cultural and slow travel. We write, eat, photograph and don’t take ourselves too seriously.
